The History of Full Gospel Witnesses Ministry
FGWBC is recognized by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) as a state compliant exempt religious university with the right to grant undergraduate, graduate degrees, related to or in consonance with our religious faith and practices.
Full Gospel Witnesses Bible College is a non-profit School that operates under the parent agency of Full Gospel Witnesses Inc., which is a legal organization operating in the State of Minnesota, established and founded on January 31St 1969 by the late Dr. Rose Lee Mullen. Willis Mullen Sr. is the current president of Full Gospel Witnesses Inc. International Ministry.
The Bible College was founded by Willis C. Mullen. Full Gospel Witnesses Bible College is a non-profit bible College that exists as a major program or department within the legal structure of the founding organization. Both the College and the organization have the same primary focus, commitment creed and mission to all the communities it serves and will serve. Our focus is primarily with religious programs, operating under Minnesota Statute 136A.657 for the religious exemption. Schools of this type that claim this exemption have the constitutional right under the freedom of religion act to be self governing without state interference into its religious practices or method of delivery for the education of its religious beliefs and practices.
Degrees and diplomas offered under this exemption are according to the beliefs and practices of the Christian faith and its religious organization; the institution doesn’t award degrees in any area of physical science. Full Gospel Witnesses Inc. was founded on January 31St 1969; the late Nathaniel John Mullen Sr., a local business man in the Minneapolis area, was the facilitator and voice of inspiration for its establishment on behalf of Dr. Rose L. Mullen to help further establish her in the work of the Lord. The headquarters that were once located in Minneapolis Minnesota is now located in the Burnsville Minnesota area.
Rose Mullen University’s Master of Ministry Graduates
From back row left, Grace Broussard, and right of her is Judith Webster, front row left to right, Deborah Lawrence, Willie Mae Demmings and Pamela McNeilly.
These proud students were graduated from a 30 credit master’s of ministry program (not all graduates are shown in this picture). My personal belief is that these students were not merely in the right place at the right time, but were chosen to be enrolled into the program by divine appointment, some as being a part of a team of ministers that are coworkers together in ministry.
One of the ministers that independently enrolled, shared with me that she had always wanted to earn her master’s degree and so one day was told by someone to enroll in our program and this was followed by the voice of faithful witnesses that helped to confirm this decision to her to take the next step and enroll in the master’s of ministry program at our bible college.
Each of these ministers is accomplished in their respective callings. A fine example is Minister Grace Broussard (left back row in the picture) whom is minister to the messianic community, frequently visits Israel and as a dynamic speaker travels the country and abroad preaching and teaching the word of God! Dr. Edward Rothman heads up FGBC Messianic Studies Department.
Even though there is not enough space for this article to share about all of their individual ministries and accomplishments, We just know that God has carved out a special place for them all and will use each of them in a very powerful way and we are only glad to have played a small role in the master’s plan!
