Chad’s Personal Philosophy
Worldview shapes behavior. Too often we witness the consequences of a poorly developed worldview even among those who identify as Christian. While secular culture fails to provide meaningful answers to the questions people are asking (Romans 1:21-22), Christians are often unprepared to provide the alternative. It is in Jesus that we find the most rational response (John 14:6), but the absence of strong leadership in fostering genuine dialogue has driven many young people to seek guidance from secular sources (2 Timothy 4:3-4).
Christians can affirm that theological discussions are both relevant and insightful when aligned with our evolving understanding of the world (Colossians 2:8). That’s why exploring and teaching the dynamic relationship between theology and academic inquiry is crucial (2 Corinthians 10:5). By bridging faith with academic disciplines, we can make valuable contributions to scholarly pursuits. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a classroom environment where students experience the integration of faith and knowledge firsthand (Proverbs 2:6). My desire is to produce unashamed Christian scholars that can engage the world in a meaningful way as they share the gospel.
